Cooper – Newborn

I’m so excited to be working with this family as Cooper grows over the next year! He is one of my “The First Year” babies! I did Corie’s maternity pictures, and I was so excited to finally meet Cooper. Corie had some unexpected things occur with his delivery, so we decided to postpone his newborn pictures a few weeks. I was thrilled when Corie told me that she wanted to do a lifestyle session instead of typical “posed” newborn shoot. I’m falling in love with lifestyle sessions more and more these days, so I’m always excited when a client prefers them over another type of shoot. There’s something so real and raw about lifestyle sessions that can’t be captured when doing a posed shoot. Don’t get me wrong – I love doing the posed newborn sessions! They’re so much fun! But capturing new parents in their natural state with their newborn is unforgettable and cherished. I can’t wait to see Cooper grow and change over the next year!
