Brooke's Bridal Shower

I thought I would do a somewhat personal post tonight. You may remember seeing Brooke and Ryne’s engagement pictures. As I said before, I will be standing up in their wedding this fall, and I could not be happier for the two of them! Brooke’s bridal shower was so much fun, and it was absolutely *gorgeous*! A very good friend of mine and Brooke’s, Allie, did a stellar job planning and hosting the shower. Allie has a knack for planning things that look amazing. She did a wonderful job of incorporating so many special touches, right down to the adorable favors she hand-made. Ryne came to the shower at the very end to help load up the gifts and say hi to everyone. Brooke received a very special quilt from her grandparents as one of her gifts, so we did a quick little shoot with the quilt in some of the pictures. The shower took place at Brooke’s grandparent’s old house that is now a place to have crafting parties. We thought it was only appropriate to include the house in a few pictures as well since it was sentimental to the bride! This day was also especially important to Brooke because she wrote both of her grandfathers a letter in which she asked them to walk her down the aisle.
